Have you ever found a stone that had been painted by someone when out on your walks? This is a lovely trend happening that I would love us to be a part of. So why not have a go at painting some pebbles or rocks this week? Then hide them whilst out on your daily wander. It will really brighten up someone's day!

You could paint a positive message, or keep it simple with some rainbow colours. You could even do some Harry Potter inspired stones - that's what I'm planning on doing!

Email me some photos of what you have created! I look forward to seeing them :)

Wb 4-5-20 Drawing Birds

Have a go at sketching some of these birds. Look carefully for their differences.

I know most of you have probably created Rainbow pictures to go up in your windows at home, but if you have a chance to go for a walk this week - why not head on past the school gates? Lots of adults and children have been busy decorating the school fence with messages of positivity and pictures to make passers by smile. Why not add your own picture to the fence?

Spring time is a time for newly born animals and wildlife emerging. Can you use the pictures of feathers below to compare, make observations and attempt to sketch a feather yourself? You could even go on a hunt on your local walk or in your garden for some feathers to sketch.

Art Challenge - design your own robot! What essential functions does it need to be able to perform? What does it do for you? Are there certain features that need maintaining by you?

Once you have designed your robot - take a photo and email it to me at homelearning@northcrescent.org

Equally you can post your designs on the ArtHub for Kids social media with your parents permission. They can be found on Facebook and Instagram.

Good luck!
