Reading

Reading is a vital life skill and opens us to opportunities. Read as often as you can. We would expect that pupils read for at least 10-20 minutes a day.

Use https://www.myon.co.uk to read e-books and increase your word count towards being a reading rock star.

Read for information. Read for pleasure. Read long books. Read short stories or poems. Read on a screen or from a page. Make it a habit.

TTRS sheets, which match our skill of the week are sent home on paper on a Friday. If you want more, download and print - or if you cannot print simply open and copy onto paper. Bring into school or share a photo or file via: homelearning@northcrescent.org

Times tables focus in Year 3 is: 2s, 4s, 5s, 8s and multiples of 50 and 100.

Use this game too (ask permission to go online - stay safe online).
