Thursday 4th March
Today is World Book Day! Below you will find out all you need to know in order to purchase books online using your virtual book day voucher (information also sent out to parents last week). You can use your voucher to get £1 off of a book of your choice in our virtual book fair. Titles of books are listed on the second page of the order form. These offers are only for a short time only (until 15th March) so make sure to order soon :)
All the information about today and tomorrow can be found on our Google Classroom page - so log in to check out the fun activities I have planned for you to do at home. There will be a link up at 11:30 today to give us an opportunity to read together and share our World Book Day outfits/reading dens/activities. I hope to see most of you there.
We will then be back to school next Monday again to continue our learning back in the classroom :)
See you then!
Morning Class 5!
I'd just like to say a HUGE well done to all those who have been busy learning over the last few weeks. Whether that has been online with me each day or using your CPG textbooks at home. I am very proud of all the efforts you have been putting in to extend your learning!
I have put a copy of the time table below again for you which will change every two weeks.
Remember to email me any work you have produced either on Google Classroom or through our school email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Check out the homework tab above to see what we've been doing at home! :)
P.S - big well done to BB and HN for winning Brilliance awards in the post already this half term! :)
5th January 2020
Well done for all those that attended our online sessions yesterday and today. We had fun learning about our new Chocolate themed learning. Plus some tricky decimals when finding the perimeter in maths.
After the official announcements this week, we are now teaching and learning remotely using Google Classroom for the remainder of this half term. Please see our timetable below for the next two week block of learning activities.
Remember to log in using the link at the top of our Google class room page at the start of each live session - 9am and 11am in the mornings and 1pm for the afternoons.
If you are struggling to log into our Google Classroom page please don't hesitate to contact the school office by phone or email on email@example.com
Hope to see you all tomorrow
Miss Whitwell :)
Good morning Class 5
I am looking forward to welcoming you back to school tomorrow :)
If you happen to be self isolating and are unable to come into school, please continue with the tasks I have uploaded to the home learning tab above - these are also on our Google classroom platform.
Our PE day will be changing to a Friday from this week too. So please wear PE clothing on a Friday (and normal school uniform on all other days of the school week).
See you all soon!
Miss Whitwell :)
Due to the current unforeseen circumstances we have moved our learning online. I have uploaded a list of tasks for you to choose from on the Homelearning tab above. There are also some brilliant website links to check out.
You also all have a login to google classroom, which can be found in the front of your partnership books. The same list of activities is located here along with some extra quizzes and daily interactive tasks. Here you can complete and hand in work electronically, alongside the website. If you are unable to log in or have any issues please do not hesitate to contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Don't forget you can take photographs of the work you have been doing and email them to me at email@example.com
See you soon and keep safe,
Don't forget to come into school wearing your school uniform from Monday 12th October.
We have PE on Tuesdays, so please remember to just come into school wearing your school PE kit for that day of each week :)
Welcome back Class 5!
I hope you have had a lovely sunny summer holiday.
This term we will be learning all about the Vikings and how they battled the Anglo Saxons. We will be reading the captivating yet gruesome book Viking Boy, we'll be designing shields and building longhouses - even reenacting battle scenes! I cannot wait!
Remember you do not need to come in wearing uniform this half term, just clean sensible clothing suitable for the weather. We will have PE on Tuesdays with Rob so please make sure you are wearing PE clothing on this day, remove all jewelry too.
Looking forward to seeing you in school :)
