In Explorers class we follow the white rose scheme of learning that covers maths in detail and ensures 'good fluency' in all areas including reasoning, problem solving and counting. This maths scheme offers an opportunity for children in reception to learn at a deeper level to ensure understanding and confidence as they move up the school. As in all year groups, reception is no different when offering challenging learning activities to children whatever level of development they may be working towards. I have added some links to the white rose home learning page which offers really useful activities and resources. These can be found in the maths resources section.
