27.02.18 Last week we had great fun role-playing as King Alfred the Great and his grandson King Ethelsan. In pairs the class debated, as the kings, who was the ultimate Anglo-Saxon king. We had learnt that they both took on the Vikings and made great gains against them. Despite the fantastic (and very entertaining) debates, we really couldn't pick between the achievements of the two kings.
