Part Two

Good and not so good feelings

Part Two

Feelings can change.

All feelings come and go, even happy and good feelings

can sometimes change  to not so happy and good feelings.

Activity 1

Read the following scenarios about Maz, our alien.

Discuss the scenarios and then note down or fill in the sheet to show how you think

Maz's feelings have changed in these scenarios. Remember our feelings words from part one. (Look back if you need help to remember them).

Example table below scenarios for you to copy or you can download using the link.

e.g.  Eating sweets – At first Maz feels…happy; later on he feels unhappy.

Can you suggest what he could do to feel better?
e.g.  have a glass of water and next time save some sweets for another day.

How could you help Maz to feel better?

e.g. listen to him, share a toy with him, play with him or help him to find an adult to talk to.

enjoying them so much that he eats the whole packet, even though a grownup told him not too. On the way to school he suddenly thinks he might be sick. He wishes he hadn’t eaten so many sweets and feels unhappy.
