Week 6- The Moon

This weeks focus has been on the moon. We have explored the many phases of the moon during our space topic and therefore this was extended upon this week.

Children enjoyed making paper mache moons, which they then described using adjectives such as 'soft', 'like cheese' and 'white'. From this children then worked together as a class to make a class poem all about the moon!

In mathematics we discussed and made the phases of the moon. We made these using different materials such as play dough, paper and chalk with black card!
