OUTDOOR LEARNING 25.5.2023 - Den building

Outdoor learning - Summer term

Well done Year 6!! SATs are completed!!

Dear parents/carers,

I am writing to you to share and celebrate the hard work of your children this week. The commitment to their learning and their work ethic this week is something to be admired and whilst SATs do not measure them as people, it was evident what mature, hard-working and resilient pupils NCPS have in Year 6. I want you as parents to know as their teacher how unbelievably proud I am of each and every one of them and to see how far they have come this year has been incredibly rewarding. Whilst SATs are over, I will continue to support them with writing evidence, continuation of the Year 6 curriculum and support them with their transition to secondary school.

The children smiled through the week, enjoyed their bacon rolls and truly showed what they have learnt in KS2. Each day, they approached it with determination and confidence- knowing they could apply themselves with 100% effort. Whatever the outcome, they can be proud knowing this.

Lastly, I want to thank you for your continued support this year with your children’s learning from reading with them at home, attending parents’ evening to getting them to boosters. It has been a pleasure working in partnership with you all to ensure your children made good progress this year. For now, it is the countdown to the end of their primary school journey and I look forward to celebrating this with you in July.

 Yours sincerely,
