Breakfast Club

North Crescent's Breakfast Club has been a huge success since its launch September 2013. It is currently led by Mrs Cane. It is always run by school staff and not an outside agency.

The children have a wide range of popular, healthy options to choose from, including porridge, a range of cereals, toast with butter, jam, marmite or nut free chocolate spread, yogurt, fruit, milk, fruit juice or water. We also have a daily special, for example, pancakes, bagels, crumpets or teacakes :)

After they have eaten, the children have an array of activities, including construction, drawing, cards and colouring, to mention just a few. Of course, some children choose to just sit and chat with their new friends whilst others enjoy playing with a range of equipment outside.

Mrs Walker enjoys times eating with the children, and is also very keen to keep the cost of running this provision to a minimum. It presently costs just £3.00 for the whole session, including breakfast.

Doors open at 7.40am and breakfast is served until 8am. Entrance to the school hall is via the school office. Children can still attend after 8:00am but would need to have breakfast at home before attending.

Bookings can be made through ParentPay (1 week in advance) or by emailing the attached form to breakfast-afterschool@northcrescent.org. It costs £3.00 per child per day. Free places may be available for children in receipt of the free school meals grant - please access this via the school office.

In an emergency, prior booking is not necessary.
